Full course description

What does student engagement look like in a virtual environment? This training revolves around this question and offers educators strategies for increasing and maintaining student engagement in both synchronous and asynchronous environments. Authentic student engagement is encouraged by learner-centered design in which the course keeps at its center student needs, interests, skills, and goals. You will learn about creating content that supports student agency, building authenticity into learning activities, and using technology intentionally to develop connections with and among students. Furthermore, this training will offer practical strategies for facilitating online discussions, fostering positive group dynamics, and using data to redirect content to meet students' needs.
