Fundamentals for Social Emotional Learning Via Distance includes four courses on Social Emotional Learning and strategies for applying it to a distance learning course. Users will learn how to create and maintain meaningful connections with students while fostering positive student-peer interactions. They can establish the practices of persistence and peer support through struggle by applying best practices for normalizing learning challenges. Finally, they will learn best practices for ensuring both they and their students feel psychologically safe in the classroom, increasing trust and engagement throughout the year.
