Full course description
Establishing psychological safety for students is key in creating a productive distance learning environment, and this training emphasizes strategies for doing so while maintaining your own personal and professional boundaries. In addition to strategies for balancing your own workflow, you will learn how to promote effective problem-solving within and outside of the classroom, encouraging students to respectfully engage with conflict. Practices such as teaching active listening, promoting open mindsets, encouraging self-help strategies, and creating a shared classroom identity will help cultivate a class culture of psychological safety and will more likely encourage students to persist through challenge and grow as a result.
