Full course description
Within every learning management system or online platform, you can embed a large collection of tools to create a variety of engaging online content. However, as educators or instructional designers develop distance courses for online delivery, it's important to fully understand and test the technologies you're hoping to use. This training will help you understand and evaluate technologies you're considering implementing in your distance learning course, ensuring that they are accessible to all students, that they work across devices and browsers, and that you are able to provide support to students during their implementation. It will also cover how to encourage students' self-help behaviors for troubleshooting technology problems as well as best practices for reaching out to technical support specialists yourself. Practicing effective technology management is the best way to make sure that you and your students won't be overwhelmed by too much technology while students are also trying to master course content.
